Client: Florida Department of Transportation Contractor/Construction Manager: PCL Constructors Size: 1.37 miles Cost/Project Budget: $47 million Completion Date: Feb-08		Project Description: The Ernest F. Lyons Bridge, across the Indian River, will be replaced. The double-leaf bascule bridge will become a precast concrete segmental bridge. The new two-lane facility on SR AIA will include two access bridges and roads to the recreational islands. Plans for the 1.37-mile project also include drainage improvements, retaining walls, sea walls, signing and pavement markings, lighting, landscaping and irrigation.
