Our professional CEI Services focus on ensuring and documenting for our clients that their projects are constructed in accordance with all contract documents and meet or exceed quality standards. Our Engineering Management Services focus on planned construction operations to prevent conflicts by coordinating all contract parties and project stakeholders to achieve successful project completion.

RS&H CS is a wholly owned subsidiary of RS&H, an architectural, engineering, planning and environmental services consulting firm. Serving clients since 1984, RS&H CS has extensive experience with all aspects of transportation infrastructure construction. Our CEI and Engineering Management expertise includes conventional and segmental bridges, roadway construction, toll plazas, weigh-in-motion stations, railroad construction, highway milling and resurfacing and design-build projects. Clients we have served include both the Florida and Michigan Departments of Transportation; the Jacksonville Transportation Authority; Pasco, Osceola, Seminole, Sarasota and St. Johns Counties; the Florida Turnpike Enterprise; the Illinois Turnpike; and the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority. In 2003, we expanded our CEI Services to Texas with office locations in both Austin and Houston and during 2006 we established a presence in Charlotte, North Carolina.

We understand that our clients require project stewardship to maximize their investment through daily inspections focused on quality, through management of construction operations and funds and through leadership focused on minimizing construction impact to local businesses and the traveling public. RS&H CS meets our clients’ needs by providing qualified, experienced project staff under the leadership of a registered Professional Engineer. Most of our Senior Project Engineers started their CEI careers as Inspectors and worked their way up through all the varying job titles needed on a construction site, a process which we believe better serves our clients by providing a management Team with a thorough understanding of all aspects of a project rather than only one area or job function.

RS&H CS maintains a continuous qualification and training program used by our CEI staff. We believe that an experienced project Team with multiple CEI qualifications provides our clients with the best possible value. In addition, to ensure that our clients’ needs are being met with the highest quality possible, RS&H CS continually performs Quality Assurance and Peer Reviews by our senior staff throughout the life of each of our projects.
